Refund policy
With our unique order-filling process, comes heightened quality check and care. Due to this time-consuming process, returns and exchanges are not accepted. It is the buyer’s responsibility to review all items, quantities and shipping address at the time the order is placed with a sales representative of Kinsey Designs' team member. Change requests may be submitted before the order ships, but Kinsey Designs reserves the right to deny requests to cancel styles or lower quantities.
Cancellations before the specified cancel date, once approved, are not accepted. If the buyer chooses to cancel an order, any subsequent orders will require a 50% non-refundable deposit. If the customer receives a damaged item, please contact us by email within ten days of receipt to begin the replacement process. Damages and missing items reported after ten days (delivery date will be pulled from tracking number) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Damages & Repairs
If an item breaks in-store due to a manufacturer defect, you can request a repair/replacement. Kinsey Designs reserves the right to determine if your piece is faulty due to a manufacturer defect. This includes clasp malfunctions, clean weld breaks, and separated jump rings. If repairable, you will be asked to ship the item back. If it’s non-repairable, a replacement will be sent. Due to our heavy style rotation, some styles may be discontinued. If we are unable to deliver a replacement due to this, you will receive a credit on your account for the paid price of the item.
Damages due to floor display wear and tear may be submitted for review. If approved, return shipping costs must be paid by the buyer. Repairs due to store wear and tear will not be honored outside of 90 days past receipt. To start the repair/replacement process, simply send a photo of your damaged item to kinseydesignsar@gmail.com. Once approved, the item may be sent back for repair/replacement. Items must be packaged safely. We highly encourage wrapping the items in bubble wrap and mailing in a poly or bubble mailer. Items may not be returned in a letter envelope. If the item is damaged in transit, the return will not be accepted. Items returned without approval will not be replaced or repaired.
If any pieces, chain, or major components of the item are lost, additional fees will be added to cover the cost of material.
Once an item has been sold, Kinsey Designs has no knowledge of how the piece was handled after leaving the store, therefore, out-of-store repairs/replacements will be handled on a strict case-by-case basis after reviewing photos of the damage.
Gold plated items still require care maintenance and can't be treated as real gold. Due to the delicate nature of this metal, items will not be replaced on the basis of tarnishing. We do offer “Care Cards” that provide details on metal maintenance and are happy to supply these upon request. Gold plated items can come in contact with but should be wiped off after contact with water, perfumes, and sweat.
